This is why there are now a number of Internet-based services that produce "directories" of advertising companies who offer "free car" or "pay to drive" programs. The directories list advertising programs in the United States as well as in many other countries. There is a great deal of variety in the quality and content of the directories offered by these companies, and their promises must be taken with the proverbial grain of salt. Most charge about $30-$40 for a subscription or "membership" that keeps the directory updated. It requires some care in selecting a good company. If you decide to purchase from one of these companies, look for at least a 90-day money-back guarantee because it may take that long to find out if this kind of program will work for you. Do not subscribe to any "premium" services that may be offered by the directory provider.
